Welding Technology I
Session I - Begins January 23
Session 2 – Begins April 9
Wednesdays, 6:00 - 9:00 pm, 30 hours, Cost $400
Instructor: David Albright (select either session)
This basic course introduces four types of welding: AC/DC stick, Metal Inert Gas (MIG), Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG); and Oxygen-Acetylene. Students learn to demonstrate proficiency in horizontal and vertical applications. Oxy-acetylene and plasma cutting will also be covered.
Welding Technology II
Begins February 7, Thursdays, 6:00 - 9:00 pm, 30 hours
Limit: 10 Students, Cost $400, Instructor: Dan Marcotte
Welding Technology II is designed as a next step for those who have taken the Welding I class and/or have equivalent experience. Students work on skills specific to their interest or need. MIG, TIG, ARC and Oxy-acetylene processes on various materials and stock configurations are covered. This course prepares students for American Welding Society Certification testing.
