NWTC DIGITAL ARTS Program
Digital Arts is for a creative person. The Digital Arts Program focuses on communication in a digital world with an emphasis on artistic and electronic design. Students develop skills in desktop publishing, animation, website design and production, digital photography and videography, and digital graphic design. In addition, students will explore careers in the field of digital arts. Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, i Movie, Final Cuts, Acrobat, Fireworks, and Dreamweaver are programs that will be utilized in this program.
Digital Arts I– 985 A class for the career oriented first year student
Prerequisites: This class is open to all 11th and 12th graders who have earned a “C” or better in College Prep English or a “B” or better in middle level English. This class meets two periods per day for all three trimesters for 3 credits.
Digital Arts II– 986 A class for the career oriented second year student
Prerequisites: This class is open to all 11th and 12th graders who have earned a “C” or better in Digital Arts I. This class meets two periods per day for all three trimesters for 3 credits.
