NWTC ESSENTIALS OF FIREFIGHTING Program

     This course is designed to meet the needs of students who are interested in becoming career fire fighters, or who are interested in volunteering as fire fighters.  Offered to juniors and seniors, students will experience complete training (students must be 18 years old to complete the training) and will learn about equipment, fire behavior, how to search a building, fire control, etc.  This course in emergency fire fighter service is registered with the Vermont Fire Service Training Council.

Firefighting I – 950 Offered in an after school format

PREREQUISITES:  This class is open to all 11th and 12th graders and meets after school for ½ credit.
