NWTC TECH-CONNECTIONS Program

     TheTech-Connections program is a college prep program for students who want to explore the fast growing career fields in technology, engineering, networking, architecture, computer hardware and software, design and manufacturing, and robotics.  Students who complete this program and then go on to a two year or four year college program will have a large number of high paying job opportunities available to them.  Technical careers are the fastest growing and some of the highest paying careers in the job market today.  This program prepares you for a career path that has tremendous growth and earning potential.

• All jobs in the workplace are becoming more technical and are requiring higher levels of math, science, communications and computer skills!!

• Salaries in these career fields can go as high as $80,000 per year!!

Tech-Connections A– 941 A class for the career oriented student focusing on electronics, computer, and networking.

PREREQUISITES:  This class is open to all 11th and 12th graders who have earned a “B” or better in Core Math I and II.  This class meets two periods per day for all three trimesters for 3 credits.  Students earn 2 Math credit and 2 Science credit upon completion of this class.

Tech-Connections B - 981 A class for the career oriented student focusing on mechanical, design and CNC  

PREREQUISITES:  This class is open to all 11th and 12th graders who have earned a ”B” or better in Core Math I and II.  This class meets two periods per day for all three trimesters for 3 credits.  Students earn 2 Math and 2 Science credits upon completion of this class.
